Terms of Use
1. Agreement
These terms are between you and Miran (“we”), the operator of the Miran app. By creating an account or using the app you accept them and our Privacy Policy. If you do not accept them, do not use the app.
2. Who may use the app
Miran is for students aged 16 and over, and you may use it only if you are at least 16. If you are under 18 (or the age of majority where you live), you may use it only with the knowledge and permission of a parent or guardian, who is responsible for your use of it.
3. Your account
- Give accurate information and keep your password secret. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
- One person per account. Do not share your account or sell or transfer it.
- Tell us at once if you think someone else is using your account.
- You can delete your account at any time inside the app (Profile → Settings → Delete my account).
4. Using the app
You agree not to:
- copy, download, photograph, record, screen-capture, scrape, republish, sell or share the questions, answers, explanations or other content, other than your own personal study use inside the app;
- try to get around the app’s protections (including the limits on copying and screen capture), or its limits on access periods and attempts;
- use bots or automated tools, reverse-engineer the app, or probe it for weaknesses;
- upload or send anything unlawful, harmful or offensive, or pretend to be someone else;
- interfere with the service or with other students’ use of it.
5. Content and ownership
The app, the question banks, the explanations, the design and the trademarks belong to Miran or its licensors and are protected by law. We give you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use them through the app for your own study. Nothing here transfers ownership to you.
If you report a question or send us feedback, you allow us to use it to improve the app without owing you anything.
6. Access to question banks
Question banks are made available for the access period shown in the app. We may change, add or remove question banks, features or access periods, and we may update content to correct mistakes. We will try to avoid disrupting a test you are in the middle of.
7. Educational use, no guarantee
The app is a study aid. We work to keep questions and explanations accurate, but we do not promise they are free of errors, that they match your school’s or an examiner’s exact requirements, or that using the app will give you any particular result in an exam.
8. Availability
We aim to keep the app running but it may be interrupted for maintenance, updates or reasons outside our control. We may require you to update the app to keep using it.
9. Suspending or ending access
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or the law, or puts the service or other users at risk. You may stop using the app at any time.
10. Disclaimer and limit of liability
The app is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data or exam results, arising from using or not being able to use the app. Nothing in these terms limits a liability that cannot be limited by law.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will change the date above and, for important changes, tell you in the app. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept it.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and the courts of Cairo have jurisdiction, subject to any consumer rights you have that cannot be waived.
